We have now gotten around to our second review of a popular jump training program. Power Vertical. Put out by the Vertical Leap Training Academy. After my story of failure with several programs and finally finding success in the Jump Manual program I wanted to help everyone out and review other vertical training programs so that they could stay away from the junk and actually get the results they wanted.

The Quality of Informationprogram_mix_2_dylh

The content in power vertical was on point just like the Jump Manual. One of the best things about this program is that it is a bit more succinct than the others. It seems like several jump programs have a problem with the amount of content they add into their product. Some are too short and leave you with questions and some are just far too lengthy and take to long to digest or you get information overload and get turned off. That is where this program really hit the nail on the head. It is clear and to the point and still covers everything you would want to know.

Much like the Jump Manual this program offers advice in all of the main categories of jump training. It has great information on plyometrics training, jumping technique, in-season training, weight lifting workouts, body weight workouts, warming up and cooling down, and stretching.

Flexibility / Customization

This program also scores very high for the flexibility. This program was designed as sports specific and that is something we have yet to see from a program. It covers seven different sports and has off-season, in-season, and pre-season trainings. All of these are spread over 3 different levels of intensity depending on your current strength level. This creates an amazing amount of customization in the program and frankly I think it will really help athletes get the most out of their training. After all a volleyball player should not be doing the exact same workouts that a football player would.

Also there is one on one coaching available through email. This is similar to the jump manuals one on one program except there is no extra charge for it. All the emails we have sent have been promptly returned by a member of the staff or even in a few occasions the creator of the product themselves. This is invaluable for a training program and I would highly recommend a program that has one on one training since it will most likely help you reach your goals much faster and more efficiently.

Presentation

The Power vertical program is laid out very clearly. It is mostly comprised of the eBook so I hope you don’t mind reading. However as I mentioned earlier I feel that this program is more succinct than the jump manual and still provides quality information without all the filler and fluff. There are videos included in the package but they are not nearly as numerous or as well put together in my opinion. The jump manual takes it on the visual side so if you are a visual learner you may want to check out that product. Otherwise this product is a great value, it is about 15 dollars cheaper than the jump manual and you get much of the same quality information.

Conclusion

I was very impressed with this product and would not hesitate to give it two thumbs up. It offers solid content at a reasonable price, a good support team and follow up for one on one coaching and emails. And it has a 60 day no questions asked guarantee. If you cant see the value in this product. I would have to assume you were blind. Between this and the jump manual, I feel it is slightly less extensive and also the jump manual videos and form put it on top by a bit. But if you’re on a budget or crunched for money, save the money and you wont be disappointed with Power Vertical: Check it out here.
